Or is there something in the vicinity of the disposal to the quality of the L-series?

The only high-end lenses are probably good enough to play some of the luxuries of Canon lenses. The excellent Zuiko Digital ED 12-60mm f/2.8-4.0 and 50mm f / 2 Makro has been acclaimed by the critics, while 50-200mm and 11-22mm received their fair share of attention and the community.
The lineup of high-quality super contains some of the faster and stronger, and zooms around each of these lenses are so rare and expensive. You are almost unbeatable in doubt the objective in this category is difficult to coordinate their positions in relation to the equivalent of Canon L glass - with the exception of the price.
Olympus has a smaller selection, but the most frequently used focal length range is covered by one or other of the zoom.
